Linking a domain name to a website or application

In addition to the domain name, you need web hosting for this.

Hosting at Combell-SRE (Openminds)

If you already have a hosting package, you can link the domain name in Sock to your website.

If you do not yet have a hosting package you can order a shared hosting package. Take a look at the Combell webhosting overview.

Third party hosting

It is also possible to point the domain name to a third party. This is done, for example, for Squarespace. In this case you can add the DNS records that Squarespace passes through the domain page at Sock.

Incorrect DNS changes can make your website inaccessible. Do you doubt the necessary steps? Contact us at support@sre.combell.com!

If a third party (Squarespace, ...) has provided instructions along, be sure to include them in your e-mail.

To do so, click on Domains in the menu on the left, and then choose the domain name you want to link:

On the next page, you will see the DNS editor at the bottom:

Use the Create a new DNS record button to add each record.
