User management
Sock offers granular control over user and asset permissions.
User permissions can be granted on a client, server, account, or domain level.
This makes it possible to restrict access to Sock users on a per project basis.
Available user permissions
User manager - can add/remove Sock users and permissions
DNS manager - can add/remove DNS records
Editor - can make changes in Sock
DNS permissions
DNS management in Sock has been discontinued, and moved to the MyCombell control panel.
Sock still offers DNS permission management for customers that use this feature.
User levels
Sock users can be created at each user level, granting permissions to it and all user levels below.
Each user level will have its own user management widget located in the bottom right corner.
This widget will have a title: Sock access to this / everything belonging to user level

Technical contacts for support
Our support team views Sock user accounts as technical contacts.
These users will be used to verify if a support request can be processed or not.
