Changing the password of an FTP-account

SFTP

This only applies to FTP-accounts.
If you are using S-FTP, then follow the same steps as when connecting over SSH, as S-FTP is "SSH-File Transfer Protocol".

On the account page you will find the list of FTP accounts.
Choose Edit for the account whose password you want to change.

In the next form, choose a new password, or use the Generate-button to automatically generate a secure password.

At the bottom of the page, click on Adapt FTP user.
